First of all, welcome to the Balıkesir Vocational School family. We are delighted to welcome you to this invaluable stage of a lifelong journey of learning and development.
In today's world, where global competition is rapidly increasing and digital transformation and technological advancements are impacting every field, the need for qualified professionals is growing daily. Our Vocational School operates with a strong vision to cultivate graduates who will not only keep pace with this change and transformation but also lead the way. All of our programs are supported by qualified academic staff and strong institutional partnerships with the industry at both the local and national levels.
Our school implements a 3+1 "Vocational Education in Business Administration" model in seven of our programs: Child Development, Graphic Design, Construction Technology, Business Management, Machinery, Tourism and Hotel Management, and the newly launched Artificial Intelligence Operations Program. This model allows our students to spend the final semester of their education in the business world, putting theoretical knowledge into practice and gaining work experience before graduation.
To provide our students with a stronger academic foundation, our Computer Programming, Marketing, and Automotive Technology programs have applied to the MEDEK Accreditation Agency and entered the accreditation process. This process will certify that our programs meet nationally and internationally recognized quality standards and further enhance the value of your diploma upon graduation.
Our students maintain constant contact with the sector and industry through our robust infrastructure and industry-integrated education plans, seminars organized by our College, career days, and technical trips with industry representatives, and the opportunity to participate in fairs organized by our University and other universities or institutions. They have the opportunity to learn not only in the classroom but also in the field. They experience business life before graduating, graduating with the qualifications sought by the business world.
Beyond being equipped with professional and technical knowledge through the education you receive at our college, we aim to raise you as individuals who have high problem-solving skills, are prone to teamwork, use technology effectively, have strong communication skills, possess ethical and environmental awareness, add value to society, contribute to their country and the world, and embrace continuous learning as a principle.
